ID provides rapid 3D consultancy & design services for 3 products to aid the Manchester “FAB Lab” launch: an embryonic joint venture between Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and The Manufacturing Institute (MI). ID managed two projects through the concept & prototyping proof stages in less than 24 hours. The project was aiding award winning inventors invited by MI to develop & showcase the prototypes for MIT’s first UK FAB Lab and its capabilities, at its launch on 23 March 2010.
