ID employs a leading expert in design and development of education and play with many years of extensive knowledge, acquired since 1999. Our experience in designing play systems, equipment, games and toys is extensive.
With the aid of design strategies, we aim to improve educational product, and with our knowledge of what makes things fun, we can add that extra zest.
Learning through the subconscious, through fun and play is a great in concept, but integrating these with science, arts, languages, mathematics, medicine and physical development can be hard to do keeping a child interested . ID are also looking into introducing new subjects that ID feel have been neglected due to slow transition of newly developed fields into the educational system.
ID’s philosophy is that children should be free to use their imaginations, creating thrill seeking fantasy worlds within safe environments. Whilst enjoying their play, modern techniques can be used in parallel to enhance learning and the dispersion of knowledge.
They should be free to use their imaginations and create fantasy worlds. This is a vital part of a child’s development. It teaches them interpretation, imagination, co-ordination, creation, communication, exploration and develops important attributes such as muscle growth, sight, hearing, sound and dexterity skills. It provides also provides social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.
To achieve this, designs must be attentive to inter-personal attributes, improving social and emotional characteristics. These are the building blocks to your child’s future skills, which they will use in the real world.
Children learn to assess, appreciate and manage risk through play. The aptitude to deal with risk, is developed over many years and will determine the extent to which our life will be fulfilled in the future. ID design to be challenging, allowing children to push themselves to the limits of physical, social and emotional states ensuring they feel at ease with minimum risk.

ID links to accredited bodies within education and manufacturing are extremely extensive. We are careful in correctly balancing and introducing modern technology whilst meeting the expectations of the child or youth.
We ensure we consider:
Safe installation procedures
Material standards
Fire Safety Regulations
Operational Safety
Play Areas are Designed and Built to the New British and European Standards BS EN 1176, BS EN 1177and BS 8409:2002.
Implementation of play systems has generated a specialist industry to grow, driven by the boom of public houses, supermarkets and family entertainment centers. Safety is of utmost importance and our designs satisfy standards implemented by ROSPA and EU and British Standard institutions. Assessments, planning and surveying are important initial factors before fabrication and investment for manufacture of play systems involving materials such as steel, wood, laminate, foam, GRP and rotational moulding.
Over the years, ID has studied and built up an understanding of the psychology of children in play and the factors that influence them from early ages.
Although, recent media focus has highlighted the need for much greater development in the area of Children’s education. Charities and opposition politicians have attacked the Government after the UK was ranked bottom in a UN report on child well-being across 21 industrialised countries.

Unicef, the organisation’s charity for children, says Britain has the unhappiest, poorest, unhealthiest and most neglected children of the world’s richest nations.
If the UK is to satisfy the demand for family orientated leisure facilities and to provide safe and imaginative play areas within a controlled environment, improving. This is where we can help.
Our designers can produce a computer generated coloured scaled simulations of your ideas and help you visualise how your play developments. This simulation can help in assisting fundraising and accessing clients.
